Darrens Bone-In Prime Rib Roast

– Start out pre-heating oven to 350 degrees
– We usually offer the roast pre seasoned DO IT you wont regret it, we guarantee it
– Place Rib Roast in a oven pan ribs facing down, fat facing up with 1/4 inch of water (beef broth)
– Times will vary with the sizes of the breast
– 2 Ribs – 1.5 to 2 hours to reach internal temp of 135 degrees (medium rare) OR pull out at 150 degrees internal temp for (medium)
– 3-4 Ribs – 2 to 2.5 hours to reach internal temp of 135 degrees (medium rare) OR pull out at 150 degrees internal temp for (medium)
– 4-7 Ribs – 2.5 ot 3 hours to reach internal temp of 135 degrees (medium rare) OR pull out at 150 degrees internal temp for (medium)
– Let the standing Rib Roast sit for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing. Letting the roast sit will let the roast continue to cook up to another 5 -10 degrees. Also allows the meat to retain its juices
– Cut the strings and carve the breast as thick or thin as you desire
